Ambika Sweets and farsan mart, Mumbai’s fondest Indian sweets brand, was established in 1970s by the late Mr. Umedpuri goswami. Our pillars stand strong on the hard work and eagerness of delivering “never ending sweetness” put in by the various generations of the goswami family who have been taking the brand from strength to strength.
Apart from our flagship store in kurla east – the exact location where Mr. Umedpuri goswami first set up almost 53 years ago, serve more smiles and joy to our beloved customers.
Our journey began with Mr. Umedpuri goswami , a post partition refugee living in kurla east who set up shop to earn a living to support his family. He was well versed with the making of mithai. He began by selling only two items – his much famed jalebi fafda and the malai barfi.
It’s been more than 50 years, and his rendition of jalebi and malai barfi still continue to serve joy to all our customers that come to us from far and wide.
Mr.umedpuri goswami believed thoroughly in providing his customers with nothing but the best in quality and taste, and since then, the brand has been living by this.
